In 2024, Nandhana Palace envisioned their 27th branch, this time in the bustling heart of Anna Nagar, Chennai. Unlike the earlier project, this venture came with a collaborative twist — parts of the restaurant design were already conceptualized by their in-house team, and our role was to elevate, refine, and execute the project to completion while bringing in a unique design perspective from BARA ARCHITECTS.
Our approach was to balance Nandhana Palace’s traditional identity with a contemporary ambience suited for urban Chennai. From customized interiors that reflect the brand’s culinary heritage, to modern design elements that ensure comfort and elegance, we shaped the space to resonate with both loyal patrons and new audiences.
Today, the Anna Nagar branch of Nandhana Palace stands not just as a restaurant, but as a fusion of tradition and modernity — a space where authentic Andhra cuisine is celebrated within an environment designed to engage, comfort, and inspire.
